Unable to configure VNX filer as client in networker NMC 18.2
Hi Folks ,
I am new to NDMP backups on networker 18.2 . I am trying to configure NAS backup for VNX5600 and VNX7600 using networker and ddboost .
I am not able to register filer in NMC GUI and I get below error .
Unable to connect to NDMP host.
Kindly help

@virals ,
First check connectivity between the backup server and the filers. Incase everything seems OK. Try configuring the client instance manually and test a backup.

Have you configured the user for NDMP on your VNX control station?
You need to create a user for NDMP using MD5 password encryption to allow any backup application to run backups.
