VTL tapes not showing up in Networker
My customer has networker 8.1.1.5 and a DD890 running 5.4.0.8. There is a vtl configured on the DD and it has been there for some time. Recently updated to the code levels listed. When we tried to create new "tapes" in the vtl, it performs correctly on the DD side, but the tapes are not showing up in the NMC to be used. Has anyone else seen this behavior? Thanks in advance.

If you query library using sjirdtag, do you seen them? If not, then they are either not moved to right library/pool or DD does not show information about them to 3rd party. If you do see them, then just do nsrjb -HvE and then nsrjb -IIv and you should see them.

This is a dump question but anyways - Have you moved the tapes that you created from the vault to the respective virtual library.

Tapes were created in the correct pool, so they were never in the vault. Thanks though.

only the newly created tapes not showing up or entire vtl and its volumes ?

Only the new volumes. ALl other volumes are working with no issues.
