Virtual synthetic full backups. how to set up on networker 8.2?
New to networker.
So reading about virtual synthetic full backups and I was wondering if all "full" backups are automatically virtual synthetic in ddboost/networker 8.2
because I see a tick mark in clients which say verify synthetic full backups.
or do I have to include the group in the synthetic full schedule in networker to get it to run?

You need to select the schedule "Synthetic Full" for NW9 & "Virtual Synthetic Full" for NW 8.x

I believe you will also find checkboxes in group too. However, I remember some folks here found there are some performance issues with it on DD side. From what I read in release notes, DDOS 6 does address that, but this is fairly new and just baked OS so I guess those using it and facing some performance issues will still have to wait a little bit.
