Windows 2008 server restore requirements

Looking for any special settings required for Windows Server 2008 backed up in NetWorker to allow a better full system restore.

yes,

Run a pre script to use the win2k8 backup to disk on the client. This will need about an extra 5 - gb of data space. win2k8 is better backing up it's self and then just pickup  the backup file along with the sys image of the root and your good to go.

depending on the server you might want to use the "ALL" command in the save set. this will take everything on the box.

Good luck hope this helps.

This entirely depends on NW version on client.  If running 7.6SP2 then DR option for win2k8 has been enhanced.
