nsrlic - NetWorker Module for MS - incorectly show 0 used

Do you use NMM license or NMSQL license (bare in mind that license is not the same as binary modules).  For example, I use NMDA, but with older licenses.

we have 3 installed "NetWorker Module for Microsoft Application" for MS Exchange 2010 AND 4 installed "NetWorker Module for Microsoft SQL Server" for MS SQL 2008 R2  but nsrlic show only "NetWorker Module for Microsoft SQL Server"

Hi,

As far as I know, it should allocate them on the first backup, so if you've already backup up with NMM, then it should show them as used instead of remaining.

I think the problem reported originally is not the same, is it?

I understood that the issue was NMM clients not using the license, but the issue is related to the number of SQL client licenses so, my questions are:

1.- How many SQL instances are you backing up?

2.- Are the SQL servers stand-alone or clustered?

we have still problem - "Too many clients for license type  NetWorker Module for Microsoft SQL Server.  Maximum is 4" so is not possible use all licences for "NetWorker Module for Microsoft SQL Server"

maybe yes, maybe not i don't  know exactly, there is something wrong in lic. counting

You hay you have: -

4 SQL instances which are all on standalone computers

NMSQL 5.2 x 4 for MS SQL 2008 R2

NMM 2.3 for Exchange 2010

Is this a cosmetic problem you are highlighting for nsrlic output or are your Exchange servers not backing up due to license deficiency?

Your SQL servers should be referenced under NMSQL license within nsrlic – does this have correct servers associated with it?

Prior to NMM for Exchange were you using NMExch module? If so is this referenced in nsrlic output?

we have licences:

yes cosmetic problem because backup for exchange is OK

yes but only 3 connected, see picture below

Just open support ticket and let them check your nsrdb - that should resolve it quickly.
