Can not access a powerconnect 3324 via IP
I have a power connect 3324 I can access the switch through the console. I can also ping other devices that are directly connected to the switch. I can also ping and telnet to the switch from a router that is directly connected to the switch. The switch is connected to another Dell 3324 power connect via the 1/g1 port, this other switch has the connection to the network. I can ping and connect via https to the switch that is connected to the network but not the second switch that is connected via 1/g1 port. I have checked the configuration of both switches and they are identical apart from the Vlan 1 ip address which is as I would expect. When I look at the counters for the 1/g2 port they are not increasing, the link has been working in the past.
What would be my best option for finding out what is wrong? Please note that the switch is in a datacenter that is some distance from where I am based so I would prefer to go through options that I can do remotely before having to perform a site visit.
