Connect between 2x Interside Con. PE5424 and 2 Stacked M6220 in a Blade 1000
Hi,
we would start with iSCSI Storage in our Envoirement with 2x 5424 + 1 Equalogic + M1000 Blade.
Physical
EQL Controller1 -> 1x 5424
EQL Controller2 -> 1x 5424
5424 -> interside connectect with 4 Cat 6 an spanning Tree Portfast
3x R715 -> 1nic to first 5424
-> 2nic to second 5424
No i wolud like to Connect the Bladecenter to my iSCSI Switches, but i doen have an Idea.
M6220 in B1 with to Ports and LAG 2 to first 5424 + LAG over this 2 Ports
M6220 in B2 with to Ports and LAG 2 to first 5424 + LAG over this 2 Ports
All LAG are with "spanning Tree Portfast".
But in every Configuration i got an Loop or an Port Blocking, so i cant reach my EQL from the Bladecenter.
Does anyon knows an Whietpaper or has an similar Configuration?

Post your config files with explicit (each port) information on how things are connected. Also post the output of "show spanning-tree" of each switch.

You have "spanning-tree bpdu-protection" enabled on the M6220 stack and you have set your port channels to portfast. "spanning-tree bpdu-protection" will disable portfast ports the receive BPDUs.
Remove the portfast setting from the port channels on the M6220 stack.

Hi,
tanks for reply.
I have remove the Portfast settings from the Port Channels, activate the Ports an cant get a Connection to the EQL from the M6220.
But when i remove the Channel-Group from the Port 1/g19-1/g20,2/g19-2/g20 i get an Ping from the M6220 connectet vmk Nic of the ESX Server.
Is it right that i have to make an "channel-group 2 mode on" on port g19 + g20 on both switches in the Stack and "channel-group 2 mode on" over Port g13 + G14 on the 5424 iSCSI Switches?
LAG 1 is for the interswitch conncetion.
