Dell Powerconnect 3548P - Not pinging, or allowing access to web console
Hello,
I am wondering why we are able to access our PoE switch via the http web console, I can connect via the Serial port and do the Dell Setup Wizard, we set all the information and our ip address for this switch to 10.0.3.192 255.255.255.0 with a default gateway of 10.0.3.1.
Then if trying to ping it if always times out, and if you connect to it and change the pc ipv4 setting to point to it, it wont allow access to it via browser.
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

I've just reconfigured connection from ManageEngine OpUtils to Dell Stack via SNMP v2c and the issue seems to be fixed: Dell Stack has been being online from 16 hours and noting has been happening during many OpUtils SNMP scans. I think the problem is solved.
For your convenience, Dell Stack Logs (either RAM and File ones with maximum verbosity) don't show any record about SNMP loss or drop.
Thanks for your suggestions.

We set the computer IP to 10.0.3.24 255.255.255.0 with gateway and DNS set to 10.0.3.192 (that of the switch)

We are not able to ping or access the web GUI, only means of connecting are via Serial cable. We don't have SSH setup. We also have tried other laptops wired into it and they also are unable to ping or access web GUI, network only registers as Unknown Network on the adapters setting page.

I have tried that and a few other we, even configured/connected it on our existing network and it had no change. I have tried the setup via the Dell Setup Wizard and also manually via the commands on the terminal, neither makes a difference.

I've a similar issue on 3 Stacked Switches: one 5548 and two 5524P. After stack setting up everything was going fine, but after an hour, during a session on Stack's Web Interface I noticed it became unresponsive via HTTP, Telnet, Ping and SNMP. I was forced to reboot it via Console and everything was going fine for a couple hours, when it became unresponsive again. I rebooted, but after few hours the issue happened once more.
I read about some issue regarded to SNMP Monitoring due to a memory leak issue: I set up a SNMP read connection via OpUtils and I wonder if that Monitoring tool could cause the issue. My firmware is the latest one on all of Stack members (obviously), just downloaded and upgraded today.
Should I try disabling SNMP Monitoring or simply reconfiguring connection?

Thanks for your reply.
Have you any command to view the registered RAM logs of FILE ones directly from the console? Seeing that we lost Web Interface, we'd like to view them before Stack rebooting.
One thing more: have you heard any issue about SNMP v1 and SNMP v2c connections? Actually Stack switches are communicating with SNMP Software (OpUtils) via v1 connection, perhaps we could move to v2c connection...
Thanks in advance.
