FORCE10 S50-01-GE-48T-AC - No Management Interface
I have four of the subject switches.
Cannot find way to enable a web interface, and will scrap them if they cannot be configured with a web interface.
Am I missing something?
None of the CLI configuration command are on these switches. (eg; managementethernet etc)
Cheers

Hi,
There is not a web gui for this switch. Everything is configured through the CLI.

Josh,
I've toured around the cli, and think I have another use for these.
Is this switch programmable..(eg; update acl via shell script)?
My first thought is to use a text file to pass over a telnet session. Possible?
Or is there a better way.
Thanks for everything Josh.

Yes, you should be able to create a script file.
The S50 supports the ability to create configuration scripts, which are fully editable ASCII files. To create a text-based configuration file, use the show running-config command, where scriptname is a name you choose, and .scr is the file extension that identifies this as a configuration script.
(S50) #show running-config ?
all Show all the running configuration on the switch.
Script file name for writing active configuration.
Press Enter to execute the command.
(S50-TAC-6) #show running-config test.scr
Config script created successfully.
(S50) #
Optionally, after it is created, a configuration script can be uploaded to a TFTP server with the copy nvram:script .scr tftp:// / .scr command. Once the script has been uploaded, you can edit it with a text editor, make any desired changes, and download the resulting file to the target S50.
To apply a downloaded configuration script, use the script apply .scr command.

Wow Josh,
Much more info than I expected. Really, really appreciate your help and cli references.
Thanks
