Help connect Cisco4510r+e and Dell PowerEdge M1000e by 10GB

Hi,

Is the switch firmware up to date? What SFP modules are you using? Are they the same wavelength on both sides?

connection happens by cable "Dell 2CM32 3 Meter 10GB Base SFP Twinax Cable"

the text confuses "transmitter fault -Yes    Loss of Signal -Yes"

Have you tried a different cable and  transceiver? It could be one of those that is not allowing it to make a connection. 

Tried other cable Cisco SFP-H10GB-CU5M
There is no link.

Is it normal?

At any changes of auto-negotiation there are mistakes.

Just a comment, the latest fw on the switch is 5.1, probably worth upgrading.

Suggest you try,  on the M8024 port that is uplinking to the Cat4500 port

I have 4.1.0.6
I didn't find how to update CPLD for PCM8024 there only of for PC8024/PC8024F and M8024-k switch in the instruction
And after up-dating the configuration remains former? or it is necessary to configure again?
