MAC address locked ports on a 5324
I am trying to lock down a few ports with the end-users mac address for the port.
When i go to the port security and select permanent it takes, but does not lock other laptops from using that port.
When I select secure I get an error of :
g17: Port must be multiple-hosts in order to perform Port Security
Is there a defined process or procedure for locking down ports by MAC.

I answered this on a different thread for another switch but I believe the same procedure will work on this switch. Let met know if you still have a problem after you try this method.
