Moving to stack switches
Hi All,
* We currently have 3X N2048 switches in out network cabinet.
* They are connected to one another with a regular LAN cable.
* We have VLAN's setup only on one switch while the other two using VLID 1.
What we should do in order to move to a stack configuration? (I have the cables on hand).

There is a Dell Networking stacking guide. It is for the N4048, but the steps and concepts are all the same for the N2048.

Once the switches are stacked, the master unit is the unit that is configured and holds the configuration for the entire stack. The backup unit keeps a synchronized copy of the config. With that in mind, I would backup the current config from the switch that has the additional VLANs on it. Then make that switch the master in the stack. The stack should then use the config from the master switch, with the additional ports defaulting to access mode for VLAN 1. If for some reason it does not, you can resort to your backup config.
