Not able to manage , management vlan via putty on access switch
We purchased 2 core N3000 and 6 N2000 switch. I set all core and access with management vlan 3 on 172.16.106.x-100. I can putty via the core and the core can ping the access server management ip. on my workstation 172.16.115.x, i can putty management vlan to the core but not any of the access N2000 switches. all access switch are connected to an uplink port to the core using 'switchport mode trunk'. I need to be able to see all the vlan 3 management vlan from my workstation?

IS 172.16.106.x and 172.16.115.x on different VLANs, or do you have everything in a 255.255.0.0 subnet? Is VLAN routing enabled on your core switch? If it not then different VLANs wont be able to communicate with each other.

what i do know is, on the access switch, if i set default gateway to 172.16.106.1, then i'm able to connect but what would it do to the other vlans that are added.

The core is ip enabled and it sees all vlan subnet. The 172.16.106.x (vlan 3) and 172.16.115.x (vlan 15) is on different Vlans. On the server switch, it had a trunk port that goes to the core. I configure the server switch with vlan 3 for management, vlan 6 and vlan 13 for our servers. My workstation is on vlan 15 (172.16.115.x), i can see the core management vlan but can't ping or access all the access switch?

can you post up the running configs from your core switch, and one of the switches you are trying to access for management. I can look through the configs to help get a better understanding of how things are setup.
Is traffic flowing between VLANs? If you take a workstation in VLAN 3 and try to ping a workstation in VLAN 15, does it reply?
