Powerconnect 3524

I am a rookie so please dont beat me up. I just bought powerconnect 3524 last week. After connecting I realized that I need to configure interface port (e1) to only allow 80 http and 443 https other will be either drop or rejected. How can I accomplish that with this unit?

You can set up ACLs to block specific traffic.  Page 91 starts the discussion about writing ip access-list and applying them to an interface.

You would want to write a permit statement for each protocol then there is an implied deny statement that should block all other traffic that does not match the statements that you manually provide.

Hope this help,
