S4128 - putty displays some weird things

Hi All,

I got 2 identical switches, I use putty to connect to them one of them from time to time displayed some unwanted information like below

<165>1 2021-07-19T18:32:56.396463+00:00 OS10 dn_alm 679 - - Node.1-Unit.1: PRI [event], Dell EMC (OS10) %IFM_OSTATE_UP: Interface operational state is up ....

the other is fine.

How can I fix it? please

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Hello,

We would need more details to be able to determine the issue, such as topology/configuration, and if there are any other errors.
What type of cables/sfp are you using to interconnect the switches?
Has this worked before without issue, and if not when did it start?

What is the current firmware version of the switches?

Lastly, are you able to upload the logs here https://dell.to/2VPCtZ8

Thanks

Marco

Hi Marco,

thanks for the response, it seems to have been fine now after some configuration entered.

Thanks again.

Looks normal on an unconfigured switch. Out of interest was this on a serial cable or via IP?
