ISDP should be enabled by default. You can check the status using the command #show isdp interface all, and #show isdp traffic. If it is disabled, then you can use the command #isdp enable, to enable.

The switch shows to be transmitting packets but not receiving any isdp packets. Which port connects to the N2000 switch? can you please run the same commands on it. Are there any other ports with devices you are expecting to see isdp packets from? What firmware are these switches running?

yup, port connects to the N2048 switch on port Te1/0/1 & Te1/0/2

I don't know why it is not working, everything seems to indicate that it should be working. Can you please run the following commands and test again.

#no isdp enable
#clear isdp table
#clear isdp counters
#isdp enable

If that does not work, then you may need to schedule a time to reload the switch.

reload the switch is done, but is not working, please help
