connect PowerConnect 2848 to 2824

What is the best way to connect a PowerConnect a 2848 to a 2824 with cooper cables.

I think to use 2 cables in the 47/48 and 23/24 ports, but I doesn't now how configure the Dell OpenManage Switch Administrator.

A LAG needs to connect to another LAG. So on the 2824 ports 23 and 24 will need to be in a LAG also.

Before getting started, it is always recommended to have the firmware on the switches up to date. This helps with overall switch operability.

The 28xx switches support link aggregation, which is configured through the switch web GUI. Page 131 of the user manual guides us through the link aggregation process.

If traffic is all on one VLAN, then once the LAG is configured, simply connect the ports and traffic should flow. If there are multiple VLANs, we would also need to configure VLAN membership.

Cheers

I tried configurate the 2848 in a LAG in ports 47 and 48 (in LAG 1), and don't made any change on 2824.

The network has become slow, unstable and stop.

We have others networks dipositives like wifi.

This is the configuration that's I made.
