Bill Nguyen,
Can you run Network Interface and post the information back here.
Go to Drivers & Downloads enter your service tag number, then select your operating system. Under Network, download and install the latest drivers.
Try these tweaks....
Start, control panel, device manager. Click on Network and then right click on your wireless adapter, left click properties, power management. Uncheck the box, allow computer to turn off this device to save power.
Go to the power options, and changed the Wireless Adapter Setting, from Maximum Power Setting to Maximum Performance.

Bill Nguyen,
Try channel 11 and see if that helps.
I use these Recommended Wireless Router Settings and channel 11. Maybe there is something in there that will help.

Bill Nguyen,
To change to channel 11, you have to change your wireless router. Alienware 14, nice model! :emotion-21:
Here is a step by step procedure, You don't have to go past the lines to the wireless adapter section.
Setting up/Troubleshooting a Wireless Network

Bill Nguyen,
You're under warranty, contact Dell Tech Support. They can help with the settings and/or replace the adapter.
