Bad IP configuration!!

At home I have a small wired network, based on a Belkin router. When I connect my laptopit gets the Ip address 192.168.2.2, as it should. But on my desktop it gets the address 192.168.0.1 and it tells me that is munaly configured, does anyone know how I can get the IP to be determined by the DHCP that is enabled on my router. They are XP media center Pc's and it is a Belkin router.
Thanks to anyone that can help!

Open Network Connections, right click your Local Area Connection, and select Properties from the drop-down menu.   Find the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), select it, then click on the Properties button.  Put a check mark in front of "Obtain IP address automatically", and, if necessary, put a check mark in front of "Obtain DNS server address automatically".
