Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Control not functioning

Hi, I am using Inspiron 6400, with Windows XP. I am having problem with my NIC Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Control. Its not functioning, I tried reinstalling the driver and also upgraded the driver by downloading from Dell Support centre. But still it is not working, in Device Manager it is showing This device cannot start (code 10) message.

Can anyone help me out in resolving the issue?
