Can not find a "Wi-Fi Direct" option in my Inspiron 3542
I have just recently read about the mystical powers of Wi-Fi Direct. When I put my phone of Wi-Fi Direct mode it didn't pick up my computer. I know there is nothing wrong with my phone because it picks up neighbours devices!! But of course not my laptop with is 11" away. When I went to Wi-fi settings in my laptop there is no option for "Wi-Fi Direct". I went to Device Manager and there is a Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter #2 and #8 active but there is also a #3 that is greyed out as if it is not found.
Long story short my laptop is not transmiting a wifi direct signal to my cel, there is no option for Wi-Fi Direct in the menu and WHAT THE HELL?!!

I have the same problem with my I15 laptop. IPCONFIG shows a WIFI Direct network but there is no WI-FI Direct option in Network/Internet settings or the wireless device.
