Cannot connect to the network

I have an 8200 Inspiron.  I had a Linksys wireless card in it.  Now neither the card or the lan work.  When hooked up to the lan I can send packets but no packets are received.   I am not resolving an IP.  I am using a Linksys router.  Any other pc I hook up works fine.  Any ideas.
