Instead of inserting your service tag number, choose the system model which will then show all of the drivers.
* Go here
* Choose Laptops
* Choose Inspiron
* Choose Inspiron 1525
* Click Drivers & Downloads
* Choose your Operating System
* Open Network. You should now see all of the wifi drivers

In manage of PC in network adapters there is only ethernet controller as u can see on photo.. In normal case there must be a wireless controller.. so its possible that wi-fi card in motherboard is destroyed? Or install windows 7 can help? http://imgur.com/6TchHcM

lisakmysak,
When you reinstalled the operating system, did you install the Dell System Software (if applicable) and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order
Start with the Dell System Software and the chipset drivers and follow the list.
Go to Dell Warranty Status enter your service tag, click on original configuration. There it will be listed the wireless adapter that came with the system. Then go to Drivers and Downloads enter your service tag, select your operating system, network. Then download and install the drivers for your network adapter.
Places to look to see if your Connection is enabled

Check the device manager and provide hardware IDs see here:
http://dellwindowsreinstallationguide.com/downloading-drivers-checking-hardware-ids-and-downloading-and-installing-dell-system-drivers-in-the-correct-order/checking-hardware-ids-in-the-device-manager/
If no hardware IDs are marked with a ? and no wireless card is listed under Network controllers, tap Fn and F2 and let me know if you see any differences.
