D600 cannot connect to my Linksys wireless router

I just received a new d600 with wifi capability through my work. When I try to use my wireless network at home (Linksys router) it somehow manages to bring down my internet connection to my desktop (which is alos connected to the router) and I need to reboot the router and turn off the d600 in order to restore the internet connection. What can be the problem? I don't have any issues using my wireless network with Linksys wireless card using another laptop.
