DELL WIRELESS 5560 HSPA + Mobile broadband Mini-Card - Win 8

Good morning everyone.
I have a big problem with ultrabook "YOUR 3460."
I updated the S.O. Windows 8, but the "DELL WIRELESS 5560 HSPA + Mobile Broadband Mini-Card" does not work.
On the website of DELL, I found a type of driver, but installing it in the device manager, does NOT recognize the card. How do I proceed? Can someone help me, please? Tomorrow I need to connect mobile ...
Thank you.

Hi,

Issue diagnosed and solved: a problem was version of modem firmware - surprisingly, DELL assumed modem running the latest firmware that was not my case.

After firmware upgrade (I used “8KF27_Win8_FW_A00.zip” file) W10 is able to identify hardware and install drivers.

Unfortunately, upgrade is dedicated to W8 and crashes under W10. Fortunately it done the job under W7 J

Dear DELL – please kindly consider sending those in charge of software writing/testing back to school; exam not passed guys, sorry.

Regards,

KSmm

Do not install this driver

Dell Wireless 5560 HSPA + Mobile Broadband Mini-Card Network Adapter

Hi Fabio79,

Please check in BIOS if the WWAN card is detected in BIOS or not. Also, is the wireless driver (network controller) listed in device manager under 'Network Adapters' or 'Other Devices'?

  • Turn off the computer, restart it and press F2 key as soon as the Dell logo appears.
  • Navigate to 'Advanced' screen, select 'Miscellaneous Devices' and press Enter.
  • Check if 'Internal WWAN' is enabled. Navigate to Exit screen and select 'Exit Saving Changes'. Once done, download the drivers from this link: http://dell.to/XEzTO0

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Unfortunately I had already made this test, and the card is enabled, but it does not work the same.

the driver provided by the "DELL", install only 2 of 3 components; in the "device management" is NOT INSTALLED "Dell Wireless 5560 HSPA + Mobile Broadband Mini-Card Network Adapter"

Thank you.

Thank you for the response.

You can try to install the drivers: http://dell.to/To6Oow and the application: http://dell.to/PAvB9F for Windows 7 which are compatible with Windows 8 as well.

Hope this helps.

Thank you, but I have not solved the problem.

The application windows 7 does not install me.

I'm downloading other drivers of the model "5630", but even these do not install them.

I'm in trouble ... I need the computer for work tomorrow.

Thank you for the response.
When you tried the Windows 7 drivers, did you receive any error code?

I have the same problem. Latitude E6430 with Dell 5560 WWAN Card. Neither the Windows 7 nor the Windows 8 Driver from the Support Downloads work. With both the device keeps a question mark in the device manager Die Treiber für dieses Gerät wurden nicht installiert. (Code 28). Translates to "The Driver for this Devices was not installed"

BTW: The Card itself is fine, works flawless under Linux.

Hi mediax,

You can try to install the driver from this link: http://dell.to/USxXCr and the application from this link: http://dell.to/PAvB9G.
Once you have installed the driver, reboot PC. Hereafter, install the application.

Hope this helps.
Please revert for any clarification.

Good morning. He assures me that this driver will install the missing component "Dell Wireless 5560 HSPA + Mobile Broadband Mini-CARD NETWORK ADAPTER"?

Should I reformat and then if it does not work, I have to reinstall windows 7 .................
