Dell Dimension 4600 - adding wireless card

It would help to know the make and model of the router.  Assuming it is a wireless router, it would be best to get a PCI wireless network card from the same manufacturer as the router.  Note also that you can get a USB wireless adapter and you wouldn't have to remove the modem card.  Otherwise any wireless network adapter should work.  Note also that FAX is a telephone technology, not an internet technology, so if you are currently set up to send/receive FAXes throught the telephone line, then you will need to have the modem card in order to do that.  File and printer sharing will work just fine through the wireless router.

Thanks so much! I am currently using a Linksys Wireless B/G router model: WRT54G. I currently use sunrocket which is a VOIP service and I'm not exactly certain if I should remove the Viking modem that is installed as there are different specs for my system. Here is the hardware as outlined below so I don't know if I have one or two modems. I do know however, that I'm not plugged into the wall for landline services I subscribe through my cable company for internet services. I don't have any other pci slots unless I remove that modem.
