Dell Dimension 9100 bought 2005 running XP home

Hi,

I have just joined the forum so please throw advice whenever; can somebody advise me whether my 9100 would be wireless enabled and if not what would I need to do to get it 'wireless enabled'.

I have tried contacting Dell and TalkTalk plus others without success - I know little about computers and I would appreciate any help/comment.

Regards

Just need to add a wireless adapter.

There's tons of them - just need to decide if you want USB (easiest), or install a wireless PCI/ PCI Express card.  With a card you have to open up the case and install it, but in the long run maybe more reliable.   It's a good idea to get one made by the same manufacturer as your wireless router,  but it's not a dealbreaker.   Some options below - can also find them at electronics stores (including Wal-Mart), especially if you just want a USB version.
