Dell Inspiron 1558 - Intel wifi technology : Adapter not found
I have been battling for days trying to figure out why the wifi keeps disconnecting after around 5 minutes of switching the laptop on. Tried many options to resolve it but none of them worked. After applying the cmd option and using ipconfig / all, this is what I got. Please advise me what to do next.

Hi Rick,
Thank you for replying, I hope the information provided is what you were looking for. I did not do anything with the operating system. I tried so many options to fix this problem, but non worked. I just noticed now that for some reason its been over 20 minutes and the network adapter has not disappeared, I will test the wifi and let you know if there is a problem again.
Regards,
Jay

Jay,
Start, control panel, network and sharing center, click on your connection, properties.
Look for TCP/IPv4 and TCP/IPv6 and click on properties for each. Have your settings match mine.
Try these tweaks....
Start, control panel, device manager. Click on Network and then right click on your network adapter, left click properties, power management. Uncheck the box, allow computer to turn off this device to save power.
Go to the power options, and changed the Wireless Adapter Setting, from Maximum Power Setting to Maximum Performance.
If you still lose the connection, can you connect and stay connected in the same room as the router? Try another room?
I would suggest if the issue remains, please run Network Interface and post the results back here.
Rick
