Dell Latitude 13 F7 key not working to turn on Wireless

There is a setting in the BIOS for enabling/disabling wireless.

Tried...it is on....still no good...

Did you recently install/reinstall the opertaing system?

Yes, it appears as if its ok everywhere..... but the fn/f7 does not work...... the wireless icon says it cannot locate any wireless networks, windows troubleshooting says to enable wireless...if I press fn/f7 it does not do anything at all....
