Dell XPS M1530 Windows Vista reinstalled, Ethernet, Network and Biometric controllers not working. Drivers not present with the CD package

That system came with Windows Vista Home Premium 32 Bit with SP1. If you only used the Dell Windows Vista Home Premium Reinstallation DVD then only Windows would have been installed.

Windows Vista is becoming aged and you may wish to consider installing Windows 10 TP instead (and then upgrading to the Windows 10 RTM when its released):

Assuming you want to stick to Vista... Drivers came with a separate Resource DVD but these will be old and its best to download the more up to date ones listed on the Dell FTP website...
