Dell studio 1555 Wireless adapter Problem

Hello All..! I've Studio 1555 with Factory default Windows Vista, I am using connectify software for internet sharing to other laptops, but from few days, it is not working...I reinstalled it again,Updated my wifi drivers from vendor's site, even restored my windows to earlier restore point, also I set up my own windows ad-hoc network, but this ad-hoc created network or the connectify created network, both are not found on nearby laptop's network search..my wifi adapter stopped broadcasting..although I can connect to ad-hoc or some other network.

please help..

Hi Gaurav B,

I appreciate your efforts to fix the wireless issue and suggest you to download the latest wireless drivers from our drivers download page by punching in the Service Tag:
http://dell.to/QjjZDA

Please try creating the ad-hoc  network after updating the drivers and let me know about the status.

Hi DELL-Rajath N;

Thanks for Reply

Well I tried that already...Even downloaded and reinstalled the latest drivers from intel's website using their automatic driver finding tool but it didn't help.

And now I am not able to connect other ad-hoc networks also.

Hi Gaurav B,

Thank you for reply and for providing an update on the status. I suggest you to follow the steps provided in the link below to create the ad-hoc network again and check if it works.

Please download the drivers from our Driver Download web site after uninstalling the driver downloaded from the Intel’s web site:
