Is that a mini-pci card or a PCMCIA? Do you recommend any places where I can get it cheap?

Thank you for your reply. I figured there would probably only be about 10 people who run FreeBSD on a dell laptop.

Mine is a miniPCI. PCMCIA under FreeBSD still isn't what it should be.

Im also running FreeBSD on my laptop (X300). I havent got the Wireless working at all but I have the X going great.
Someone knows anyone who has gotten wireless to work with the Dell TrueMobile 1300 interface? Is it even possible to get it to work? As far as I know broadcom hasn't release any info to OpenSource to get a driver?

Hi,

i found only one way to enable the truemobile card. You have to use the NDISulator module and use the windows driver.
have a look here http://www.xl0.org/FreeBSD/ndis.txt
