HELP!!!! Can't Get Internet Service due to Dell Wireless WLan Card
Hello:
I have a Dell Inspiron Laptop and I can't get access to the internet due to the following message: "The Dell Wireless WLAN Card is still disabled.
Slide the ON/OFF switch to enable it."
Where is the ON/OFF switch on this laptop????

If you are using vista, Goto your Control Panel, open Network and Sharing Center, Click on Manage Network Connection on the left hand Tasks Panel, Right click on the Wireless Network Connection Icon, then select Enable..

Look on the right or left-hand side of the laptop, you'll see the switch. It's got the wireless symbol ((i)) next to it, and if you can see red next to the slider switch, it's OFF. Slide it the other way to ON and the red disappears. Problem solved, you won't get the error message again, and you should be able to connect to your wireless network. Most people don't even know about that switch until it slides to OFF by mistake, like while you're carrying the laptop around or something.
