HELP screen goes black
When i turn on my Inspiron 5150, the screen has color for only a second and then it just turns black...I can barely see the desktop, icons, and everything else on the screen...What should i do???

Post in the appropriate forum. This is an internal modem forum.
Boot to the BIOS (F2 at power on) and leave it there for 10 minutes. If the lcd stays lit, then you have a windows video driver problem. If it goes out there, you have an lcd backlight problem. If that is the case, and you are in warranty, call Dell and report your exact steps.
