How to uninstall Broadcom BACS/BASP?

I'd like to uninstall the Broadcom Advanced Control Suite (BACS) and the Broadcom Advanced Server Program Driver (BASP) from my PC.  I believe that it is interfering with the switch that the PC is connected to.

I've got a Dell Optiplex 755 running Windows XP SP3.

On the Add/Remove window there is only one entry for Broadcom - Broadcom NetXtreme-I Driver and Management Installer.  Removing this might remove BACS/BASP (I couldn't tell), but it definately removes all of the Broadcom NIC drivers, which I did not want to happen.

I cannot disable BASP from the Local Area Connection Properties because the checkbox is disabled for BASP.

How do I uninstall Broadcom BACS/BASP without deleting the Broadcom NIC drivers?

Thanks.

Go into Network Connections, open the Properties for the connection.

This will show BASP in the software services for the network connection.

Highlight BASP and click on "Uninstall".

Warning will pop up and indicate that BASP will be uninstalled for all network connections (not just the current one).

Accept or not as desired.  BASP will be uninstalled for all network connections.

Other Broadcom drivers are not affected.
