Inspiron 2200 Laptop no longer recognising wireless networks

For many months, I have used the above laptop in conjunction with wireless networks.  All of a sudden, it only recognises an unsecured network labelled 'hpsetup'.  Any idea what may have gone wrong, please?  Might it be a wireless switch that I've reset in error?  Where can I find such a switch (have looked in manual)?
