Internet Problems

I am running Windows 10 on Dell Inspiron N5050 laptop computer. I have a network that is working fine, I can see other computer on the network and load programs from them. My Dell laptop tell me that I am connected to the internet, but I can not get to the internet with either Internet Explorer or Chrome.  They say that there is no connection to the internet.  I have tried to ping versus places and can get nothing. I dig into networks on the computer and in advanced internet options and try to set up the internet.  It tells me I am connected to the internet.  EVERYTHING TELLS ME I AM CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET, BUT IT WILL NOT WORK?????

SOB_1939,

Your computer needs Windows 10 drivers. Unfortunately, Dell does not support Windows 10 on this computer and therefore. no Windows 10 drivers where created.

Product not tested for Windows 10 upgrade

Dell is not testing or developing Windows 10 drivers for this product. If you choose to upgrade, some features, applications, and connected devices may not work as expected.
