Iphone 5s Hotspot

Hi there.  Weird problem here.  My new iphone 5s hotspot can't connect to my XPS 13.  My old 4s connected no problem.  I get a message saying " windows cannot connect to Bryan's Iphone". Many times the XPS will not even pick up the signal.  Works fine though with the Ipad!

Any ideas?? thanks folks.

Hi Spec01,

Since you have previously connected your XPS 13 to the Iphone 4s hotspot, the system may still be looking for the same wireless network and therefore bringing up the error message. In order to refresh settings, you will have to make the computer forget the existing wireless network. Steps for doing so in Windows 8 and Windows 7 are given below.

In Windows 8:-

Access Settings and then choose the Wireless icon.
Right-click on the network and choose Forget this Network.

In Windows 7:-

Go to Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center
Choose Manage Wireless Networks from the options on the left.
Highlight the network from the list and choose Remove

You can reconnect by choosing your network from the list again. You will need the password to reconnect.

Please reply with results.

Thanks and regards.
