MAPI error message when import or export messages in Outlook Express

Question

If I try to import messages into Outlook Express, I receive the following error message: Messages can not be imported from the MAPI client. An error has occurred. If i try to export messages from Outlook Express, i receive the following error message: The Export could not be performed. An error occurred while initializing MAPI. anybody knows the solution to the my problem?
