Netgear MP101 connectivity problems

Hi,

 

I sucessfully run the Netgear MP101 media player via a laptop. This week I took delivery of a Dimension 8400 running XP Media Center 05 and installed the netgear software etc. and now the media palyer only connects for 44 seconds and then drops the connection. I have set the Firewall permisions as detailed in the Netgear manual and even switched off the firewalls with no luck.

 

Any thoughts, seem strange I can connect get data for 44 seconds and then it stops?
