Actually WPA2-AES Security is the way to go but not all wireless devices will work with WPA2. So this is why we are currently sticking with WPA-PSK(TKIP) Personal Security.
Sometimes connections fail due to power flickers. Try turning off your ISP Modem/Router, your wireless router and your computer for 60 seconds, then turn on the ISP modem/router. Wait 15 seconds, then turn on the wireless router(if any). Try to connect. Usually this happens during electrical storms and when there are power interruptions. Doing this resets everything back and then the connection resumes as normal.
