Orinoco PC Card 802.11b and WPA

I just purchased an Orinoco Client PC Card 802.11b Gold Series from overstock and they said that the card was upgradable to the WPA standard. Well I could find 0 info on the proxim site but did a search and found a pdf doc from proxim saying that it was not going to provide the upgrade to 802.11b devices due to hardware limitations. I find that a load of bull because just about every other 802.11b card I have seen supports wpa.

So basically am I stuck with a wep only card or are there drivers availible for 802.11b devices for WPA that I just cant find.

Thanks

IIRC (which may or may not be very good) there was a driver.  I may be confusing it with the 1180 Broadcom-based cards.  If you search TM1150 (which is a relabeled Orinoco Gold card) and WPA you may find the posts.  Too darn long ago to be fresh in the cells.....
