PCTEL Modem

I am having Dell D500 suddenly dialup modem(PCTEL) stopped working.I tried removing from add/remove hardware still modem wasn't getting detected. When i did the diagnostics i am getting modem Reseat? I donno how to reseat modem.

 

I tried reinstalling software i am getting message "Actrive applicaiton currently using PCTEL2304WT V.92 MDC Modem" Please close the application,otherwise you need to rerun this program...
