Problem with a network card
[Dell e6420] Hi, If I try install this: Intel 825xx Gigabit Platform LAN Network Device I've got: error, but my laptop doesen't see ethernet and device manager is clear

Hi
Device Manger has a Show hidden devices, and devices that are not recognised cleanly, can show in different headings or be greyed out.

Hi
If you can use a command prompt as an administrator, then typing something like
netsh lan show interfaces
netsh lan show settings
You might get a clue as to the problem area.
