Problems with Installing the WIFI-/LAN-Driver for my Latitude D620 // Failure "BASS_REL_5_6 456"
Hi,
I can't install the WIFI-/LAN-Driver for my Latitude D620. I tried both drivers which are available on the dell website:
- Dell Wireless 1395 WLAN MiniCard
-
Dell (R) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN
When I try to install the first one I got the failure message "BASS_REL_5_6 456".
I am able to install the second one, but I still got the message, that the WIFI-/LAN-Hardware is uninstalled. Therefore I still can't access to the internet with this computer.
Does anybody of you have a solution to solve this problem? Can you tell me which one is the right driver? Can you provide me with the right driver?
Installed OS is Windows XP Prof.

Stefano,
When you reinstalled the operating system, did you install the Desktop/Notebook system software(if applicable) and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order
Start with the Desktop/Notebook system software and the chipset drivers and follow the list.
