SIM destroyed

Hello,

we are useing the Dell Latitude E series and have problems with the SIM card.

In Germany we use "Telekom" as provider and it works fine.

In Austria the provider is "Drei" and 2 of our users reported that their SIM cards die after a while (some days, weeks) and they have to replace it.
We already got the mainboard replaced in one of the notebooks, but it didn't help.

Are there any known issues with some SIM cards or any problems with the WWAN boards?
