I know this is an old post, sorry, but I just got a hand-me-down and after refreshing the operating system system (XP) and re-installing the drivers from the factory disk, I cannot get the Wireless enabled for anything.

I have tried the BIOS, switching the function keys, changing the order I installed the drivers, but nothing is working whatsoever.

All the other function keys work, sound, brightness, etc.  I have the 1397 adapter installed and software wise everything looks okay.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks!
