Ultrabook XPS 14 wireless connectivity weakness

I have a new Ultrabook XPS14 with Windows 7 Premium.  The wirless connection to the network at my house and several other places I have used other Dell laptops is VERY weak in comparison.  I have tested the network strength using the new XPS and my Dell and other laptops and the new XPS loses the signal only 15-20 feet away from the router.  With my other laptops I can go outside over 60 feet away and keep the wireless connection.  I am have taken a screen shot but am not able to attach it.  Help I love everything about this computer except this!!
