Unable to find driver for Alienware M17x Network Adapter

Hi there,

I've had an M17x for about 3 years now and roughly a year ago the network adapter would stop working after leaving the device in sleep mode. It would usually be resolved by simply restarting it but right now it's unable to connect to the internet at all. I can see all of the network connections, and connect to my router but still no internet access. I'm able to connect using other devices in the house so it's safe to assume it's a problem with the laptop itself.

The network adapter is a DW1520 Wireless-N Half-Mini Card. The driver is version 5.60.18.8 which was released on 21/08/2009. I've only been able to find a driver for a Wireless WLAN 1501 Half Mini-Card (4313bgn) which seems to be an older model so I'm unsure if it will work at all.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance. :emotion-1:

Hi mscupcakes,

If the alienware M17x has a Windows 7 Operating system, the network adaptor driver can be downloaded using the link below-

However, if the system runs on any other Operating system, please write back to us, so we can check for an alternative solution.

Thanks & Regards,
