Wireless Network Adapter Not Present Inspiron 15 3521

I just received a new Dell Inspiron 15 3521, 320gb.

I initially activated the product and everything went smoothly; wifi was present unpon activation and all was well. I had recently bought a new 750gb hard drive and decided to replace the existing hard drive with the larger one. I reinstalled Windows 8(64 bit), but I realized that I was unable to detect any wireless connection; the installation process bypassed the Wireless set up screen. When I clicked on the wifi icon, it stated no connection was available. I am only able to get internet access by connecting directly to the router.

I went into device manager and found that there was no wireless adapter under the Network Adapter tab. I went to the dell website to download any available wireless drivers for windows 8. I downloaded and tried all of them, but the problem sill remains unresolved. Under the network adapter tab, there are two Bluetooth adapters, Microsoft Kernel, and Realtek PCIe.

I am stuck, and do not know what to do. I think I have exhausted all of my options, so here I am seeking help. Please help me.

Sir I have same problem...after installing Windows 8 X86, I don't see any wireless connections. And same, on Network Devices doesn't appear any wireless device... Please..I need help! Thx

SirDeadline,

When you reinstalled the operating system, did you install the Dell System Software(if applicable) and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order

Start with the Dell System Software and the chipset drivers and follow the list.

Ok, i' ve tried your idea but...wireless is still not working and I can't find him in Device Manager... I had some errors installing packages, and "Network Controller" and "PCI Simple Communications Controller", from "Device Manager" shows that are not properly installed. I guess that's the problem... What should I do next? Try reinstalling all drivers again? Or should I reinstall my Windows, again? 
By the way, is that the correct order?

Did you install the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install.

Did you also install Intel Management Engine Interface Driver

Just install everything under chipset, then follow the list and everything should install.

No, I did install only one of 2 chipset drivers...I didn't know there is another one... Also I didn't install Intel Management Engine Interface Driver...And video drivers reported error...

Ok...so now how I have to do to be ok? I have to reinstall all drivers again? Or I have to reinstall Windows 8?

Is there any program to help me with this correct order? My Dell should be ok ?

I would apprecied somebody to help me to understand which order is the correct one to install drivers on my Dell Inspiron 15 3521 laptop..

My problem is not solved yet, but I think I've found the problem...Is this package DW1703_DW1705_W8_A00_Setup-0WD12_ZPE (Dell Wireless 1704 WiFi + Bluetooth Driver) . Is showing that is installing, but no confirmation at the end... because of that the next driver for wireless called Network_Driver_0WD12_WN_10.0.0.162_A00 ( WLAN and Bluetooth client) package reports this error :

So, what should I do next? Video driver still not working. The error message is : "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software" .

I installed My Dell too... the only error shown is "Network Controller- not installed" ... OMG I think I'm gonna freak out....

SirDeadline,

If you're under warranty, contact Dell Tech Support.

If not under warranty, download CCleaner and install, Run it. Then click on registry and run thet. Select fix all issues. When it suggests to backup the registry, say yes and save the file.

Restart the computer.

Download the drivers again. You may have a corrupt download and/or installation.

If this does not work, you may have to reinstall Windows

When you reinstalled the operating system, did you install the Dell System Software(if applicable) and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order

Start with the Dell System Software and the chipset drivers and follow the list.

I have the same problem (wireless connection is dead, the network connection in the device manger is not updated "placed in the other devices")

and I have the USB2.0-CRW also not updated "placed in the other devices"

I can't see the Dell System Software or the System Utilities from where can I download it?

Can you run Finding System Information REMOVE YOUR PRODUCT ID and REGISTERED OWNER and post the information back here.

I'VE RECENTLY PURCHASED A DELL Inspiron 15 3521 LAPTOP. THE PROBLEM WITH IT IS THAT THE NETWORK CONTROLLER DRIVER IS SHOWING YELLOW IN THE DEVICE MANAGER SECTION. THEREFORE I CAN'T DETECT ANY BLUETOOTH DEVICE THOUGH WIRELESS IS BEING SWITCH ON AND OFF BY PRESSING Fn + F2 BUTTON. WHAT TO DO?
